Orson Scott Card ha publicado una crítica sobre Serenity, si, ese que escribió Ender’s Game (El juego de Ender) y de cuyas continuaciones a partir de la tercera novela es mejor no hablar.
Yet as far as I know, nobody has told. I walked into this movie reasonably aware of the advance word-of-mouth (though not obsessively so) and only as the film actually began this afternoon, the day of its premier, did it occur to me that I had not heard a whisper of a breath of the actual plot of the movie. All I heard was, «It’s great, you’ll love it.»
Well, guess what.
It’s great.
I’m not going to say it’s the best science fiction movie, ever.
Oh, wait. Yes I am.

And I’ll tell you this right now: If Ender’s Game can’t be this kind of movie, and this good a movie, then I want it never to be made.
I’d rather just watch Serenity again.

Por otro, a algunos fans no les gustó que la película fuese la segunda más vista este fin de semana, así que empezaron a jugar con las cifras hasta conseguir que fuese la número uno en algo, y encontraron que fue la que más dinero recaudó por sala de cine, normal, teniendo en cuanta que la peli que recaudó más dinero se proyectaba en unas 1000 salas más en Estados Unidos que Serenity, si al final solamente hay que buscar la estadística que mejor convenga a uno.
